What is 21 Wale Cotton Needlecord?
Corduroy is defined by its vertical ribs, known as “wales.” Needlecord refers to the finest wales, creating a soft, velvety texture that is less bulky than traditional corduroy. Our 21-wale fabric has 21 ribs per inch and features very fine, closely-set ribs, offering a delicate hand-feel while maintaining the classic durability and warmth corduroy is known for. This is a high-quality dress fabric ideal for year-round wear.

Fabric Care:

For best results, machine wash at 30°C and tumble dry on a low setting. We always recommend testing a small swatch first.

This fabric is sold by the half metre. An order of 2 will give 1 metre, 3 will give 1.5 metres and so on. Multiple orders will be cut as one length.
