Jersey Long Sleeve T-shirt Pattern
Designed and printed by More Sewing on 80gsm paper, with coloured cutting lines.
PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS A SEWING PATTERN, not a finished t-shirt. Available with free postage.
This easy to make and wear fitted jersey long sleeve t-shirt is a classic shape you will want to make again and again.
The pattern has been designed for cotton/elastane jersey fabrics with 5-8% elastane. Check out our plain jersey selection.
You can also use this pattern for 95% Viscose (or Tencel) / 5% Elastane jersey fabrics, (but you will need to make the neckband tighter).
Make this pattern using your overlocker or sewing machine! 1cm seam allowances used.
You can make the t-shirt in one jersey, where you will need to buy 1.5 metres of 140/150cm wide jersey.
Alternatively, have a contrasting back and neckband. For the contrast style you will need to buy 1 metre of each fabric (140/150cm wide fabric). You will actually have enough fabric from the required amount to make another t-shirt back and neckband for your next t-shirt.
In the pictures you will see a size 12/14. The finished garment bust is approx. 92cms / 36 1/4″ and stretches comfortably to 104cm /41″. Compare this measure to one of your own jersey tops to decide the size you make. There is a 7.5 cms / 3″ size difference, between each size from the 12/14 upwards; and a 5cms / 2″ difference down to the 8/10 size
The top is not cut to be very loose fitting and has a close armhole and sleeve. It is a great basic jersey top shape that I live in!
You can finish the t-shirt using a twin jersey needle.
All sizes are included in this pattern from 8/10, 12/14, 16/18, 18/20, 22/24
You pattern will be supplied on three sheets of 80gsm paper.
