White Lightweight Cotton Fusible Interfacing (110cm Wide)
- Material: 110cm wide, fine quality pure cotton.
- Weight: Lightweight, woven construction.
- Best Used For: Adding body and reinforcing small parts in ladies’ blouses, shirts, and dresses.
- Position: Place the interfacing with the coated (adhesive) side facing the wrong side of your fabric.
- Set Heat: Set your iron to the 3 dots / steam setting.
- Press: Cover the area with a damp cloth if needed and press down firmly for about 15 seconds. Focus on one “iron-sized” area at a time. Do not rub or glide the iron over the piece.
- Cool: Allow the fused fabric to cool flat so the adhesive can set properly.
- If it does not adhere right away: Use a slightly longer ironing time or a slightly higher iron temperature. The fusible coating needs adequate time and heat to reach its melting point and bond securely.
- Check the bond: If the adhesive has not taken after cooling, simply repeat the ironing steps above. Taking your time ensures a very strong, lasting bond.
Note – It is important to choose the correct fusible interfacing for your fabric. If your chosen fabric; i.e. synthetic or lightweight fabric; cannot be ironed with a medium to hot iron, this fusible may not be suitable for your fabric as you may not achieve the temperature required for the fusible to bond correctly.
This interfacing is sold by the metre, multiple orders will be sent as one piece (e.g. an order of 3 will be sent as a 3 metre piece).
