Stitch & Tear Mediumweight Backing White 90cm Wide. This is a stabiliser that can be used for all types of sewing, applique and machine embroidery.  It can be used with all fabrics and it can be drawn on with a soft pencil.

This backing will give you accurate results and smooth edges when sewing.  It also helps to prevent fabrics from stretching and puckering.

To use, simply baste a piece of the Stitch & Tear slightly larger than your sewing area to the underside of your fabric and sew/embroider as usual.  When finished, carefully tear away all excess Stitch & Tear.

• Suitable for use with all fabrics
• Can be ironed with medium heat. Using a damp cloth between the fabric and the iron will allow use of a higher temperature without damaging more delicate fabrics
• Washable 40 degrees

This fabric is sold by the half metre. An order of 2 will give 1 metre, 3 will give 1.5 metres and so on. Multiple orders will be cut as one length.
